Henrietta - Wight Cut Flowers

Henrietta | flower grower

I'm so grateful for the desk jobs I've had, brilliant colleagues, and access to things like a coffee machine and light switches when it gets dark early.  My most recent desk job was at the world's leading circular economy organisation in their Food programme, working to change the way our food is produced so it regenerates nature while making business sense.  As an antidote to being indoors all day my computer was surrounded by plants, offering respite from bright lights, tight deadlines, and Zoom calls - and serving as a reminder of a wider world outside when things felt a bit much to handle.  Now my office has no walls, my coffee machine is a thermos, and the bright light is natural.  I hope to grow for you what has brightened my day, many a day.  Stay in touch here

Tom - advisor for Wight Cut Flowers

Tom | advisor

Tom has over 20 years experience managing trees, woodlands and hedges, and providing training for those with land, or just a love of the outdoors.  He also has loads of patience, which is lucky for Henrietta.

Values

Work with nature

We want to share the soil, land and sky respectfully with all the other living things. Every care is taken to ensure life in the field can thrive. No pesticides are applied, soil health is built, and habitats are created.

Bring joy

There are plenty of mood hoovers out there, so at Wight Cut Flowers we'd like to bring some lightness to your days.  We're pretty silly here, and we think that's a good thing.

Give back

Whether through donations of money or time we'd like to spread positive ripples.  At the time of publishing this website we haven't yet got off (or out of) the ground, but we have loads of ideas and will share updates.
